Monday is World Diabetes Day. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say 415 million people worldwide live with diabetes, a number which has doubled since 1980. Lifestyle changes such as physical activity and eating right can cut the risk of type 2 diabetes in half and knowing your risk level is the first step toward prevention. If you are living with diabetes, what steps have you taken to be healthier and keep the disease under control?
