Lauki Idli Recipe: How To Make Lauki Idli
To begin with, heat some oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and red chilli. Saute well. Add sooji and roast for around 4-5 mins. Remove from the flame and let it cool down. Add water and yogurt to the roasted sooji. Combine well and set aside for 20 minutes.
Now, add grated lauki and chopped coriander leaves to the sooji mixture. Mix well and add salt. Pour the batter in the idli steamer and steam for around 15-20 mins. Once done, transfer to a plate and serve hot. Lauki idlis are ready!
