Diabetes: Diabetes or diabetes mellitus is a disease that happens because of rise in the levels of blood sugar. According to World Health Organization (WHO) “The number of people with diabetes rose from 108 million in 1980 to 422 million in 2014. Prevalence has been rising more rapidly in low- and middle-income countries than in high-income countries.”  The number of cases of diabetes are rising with each passing year. Deaths due to diabetes are increasing. Diabetes is a chronic disease which can result in blindness, kidney failure, heart attack, liver diseases, weakness of the nervous system, gangrene disease etc. In fact, diabetes can result in so many diseases that it is often called to be the mother of all diseases.

Diabetes is diagnosed by checking the level of glucose in the blood through a blood test.
Type1 Diabetes: Type1 diabetes caused due to autoimmune reaction, sort of a reaction ,which stops the human body from making insulin. It happens in children, teen and young people. Type 1 diabetes patients have to take insulin to live on.
Type2 Diabetes: In this type of diabetes the human body cannot at all use insulin properly. Thus, the level of blood sugar in the body goes haywire.
Gestational Diabetes: Gestational diabetes happens to pregnant women. It can put the baby in the womb at risk for diseases like obesity.

1-Keep checking your blood sugar levels
2- follow a diet plan.
3-Walk, jog or exercise daily
4-Maintain triglyceride and cholesterol levels as near to normal as possible
5-Manage your blood pressure as near to normal as possible
Hence, increase sweetness in your words, not in your blood. Beware of the dangers associated with diabetes and learn to manage it with the steps you just read.
